The program installs quickly and the student is set to go within a few minutes. It is divided into four sections: tutorial, practice exams, english skills builder and essay quizzes.

The comprehensive tutorial has 75 screens and explains not only how to use the program, but the basics of computer testing, TOEFLıs adaptive system and even how to use a mouse. However, certain aspiring-to-TOEFL students may find some explanations difficult. The practice exams look and act just like TOEFL and contain the same listening, reading, structure and essay sections. I found the listening comprehension well acted and easy to follow, and the other sections corresponded to the actual TOEFL test. Once tests are completed, you can access instant results screen, which gives you a scaled score with comments on what remedial action is required for all sections apart from the essay writing, which is not graded. The English Skills Builder section is a pool of several hundred sentence structure questions which are chosen according to the studentıs ability__after each question the compter calculates your Ability Rating, so the next question will match that, but still be challenging. The final section of essay quizzes provides a good selection of TOEFL-style essay questions for practice. Overall I think that the program offers great value for money and I really do think that at this price every school in the country should have it.
