Panama
The southernmost of the Central American nations, Panamá
is just south of Costa Rica and north of Colombia. While
Panamá is known mostly for its famous canal, the
country’s natural attractions, including some of the
most pristine areas of rainforest in the world, are irresistible
to travelers.
Panamá is home to over 940 recorded bird species
and 125 animal species found nowhere else on the planet.
Although currently little visited by tourists, Panamá
is a friendly and welcoming country with an eclectic mix
of cultures making it an ideal place for Spanish immersion.
ILERI was founded in 1994 in Panamá City. It is
a small, friendly school located in Altos del Chase, 20
minutes from downtown and only five minutes away from the
most accessible and only seasonal dried forest in Latin
America — Parque Natural Metropolitano. The goal of
this school is the teaching of the language through the
life and culture of the host country. The homestay families
actively help students in the learning of the language and
provide a unique opportunity to interact and experience
the culture.
With more than 10 years experience, ISC PANAMÁ offers
professional Spanish classes in an excellent environment.
Each class has a maximum of four students in order to allow
a balance between group-work and personalized instruction.
Located in the heart of the Panamá’s business
district, the school is surrounded by banks, shopping malls,
supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and other sites of interest.
