The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is boosting donations on DonorsChoose projects for one-day-only on August 11th, 2020
Starting at 7AM ET on Tuesday, August 11th, all live, approved projects will qualify for a 50% boost, while funds last. That means a $10 donation made on August 11th will become a $15 donation.
To qualify, teachers need to have a live, approved project on the DonorsChoose site https://www.donorschoose.org/teachers by August 11th at 7:00 AM ET, so set one up now!
If you already have a live, approved project on DonorsChoose, let all possible donors know that their donation will be boosted tomorrow only! If you have multiple projects live on the site, all of your projects will be eligible.
Standard, Special Request, and Professional Development projects can all qualify for this boost.
Donations made between 7AM ET August 11th and 3AM ET August 12th will be eligible for the boost.
- Eligible donations will be boosted by 50%, meaning a $20 donation will become a $30 donation, or a $100 donation will become a $150 donation.
- Credit card, PayPal, account credit, and gift card donations to live projects will be eligible for this boost. Check donations and donor advised funds will not receive the boost.
- Donations made during friends and family pre-funding will only be boosted if the project is approved on August 11th.
