Language Magazine is offering subsidized language classes for the local communities of Topanga and Woodland Hills.
We currently offer Spanish classes for adults and children in our Topanga office (131 S. Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Topanga CA 90290) and will soon add a new location in Woodland Hills.
We have 4 kids’ classes and one adult class,
Kids beginners at 2 – 3 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Kids intermediate at 3 – 4 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Adults beginners/intermediate at 12 – 1 pm on Tuesdays
We are happy to arrange other languages or days and times upon request , a minimum of 4 students is required, so if you have a group of friends, you can personalize your language lessons!
Class size is set at a maximum of 12 students to allow interaction and participation by all students. We welcome students from age 4 to 11. We can also accommodate younger learners with a parent/carer (or without, once established).
For the children’s classes, Spanish mother-tongue teacher Tania Ruiz uses art, song, and play to engage young minds and hearts. Adult classes are based on the latest “content-based” methodologies
All classes are $10 per class for a minimum of 10 classes. We accept checks, credit cards, cash or Paypal.

Our mantra is to make learning a language fun, while giving kids the grounding they need from a native speaker, and confidence from practicing with friends. Our goal is to provide a fun educational experience that will instill in children a lifelong love for languages.

Originally from Ensenada, Ms. Ruiz grew up in Mexico and gained her Master’s in Education from the Universidad de Baja California, where she graduated top of her class. Tania is a proud mother herself of a six-year old boy.
