Subsidized Teachers’ Trip to Spain

The Tourist Office of Spain, Fedele (Federation of Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language), Castilla y León Tourist Board, and Madrid Tourism are inviting teachers of Spanish from major language schools and Study Abroad Directors from universities, business schools, colleges, and high schools in the U.S. to participate in the V INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF SPANISH TEACHING CENTERS that will be held in Salamanca, Spain from November 9th thru the 12thth / 15th, 2014. This meeting is designed for study abroad practitioners specialized in Spanish language programs.

HURRY! Applications need to be submitted by October 15, 2014!

Participants will be leaving for Spain on Saturday, November 8th (arriving in Madrid on Sunday, November 9th). During the course of the summit, attendees will have time to meet with the vendors in prescheduled appointments. A series of workshops and presentations will take place during the event as well as school visits, guided tours and cultural activities.

After the two-day workshops, there will be an optional post-tour to Madrid from Wednesday, November 12th thru Saturday, November 15th. The program to attend the “V International Meeting of Spanish Teaching Centers” in Salamanca and the optional post-tour to Madrid is complimentary and includes:

• Three night hotel accommodation or six if you join the post-tour
• All of the meals included in the program
• Transfers included in the program
• Sightseeing tours
• Workshops
• Round-trip plane ticket in economy class from the US to Madrid(up to $1,500).
